Elisa Carroll MD earned her medical degree from the Catholic University of The Sacred Heart School of Medicine in Rome, Italy. She then completed a fellowship program at the University of Texas Health Science Center in 1995.

Then, Dr. Carroll successfully completed the residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1999. During her residency, she was named the chief obstetrics and gynecology resident for the 1998-1999 academic year. She credits her education and training with helping her become the highly respected San Antonio OBGYN she is today.

This San Antonio OBGYN believes it is important to stay current on the latest developments in women’s healthcare. As a result, Dr. Carroll is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association and the Bexar County Medical Society. Membership in these groups allows Dr. Carroll to continue providing her patients with the most-effective and advanced women’s healthcare.

Gynecological Ultrasound / Sonogram

Dr. Carroll takes her time with my many questions. She was even interested in my husband’s questions. I know she is busy but never gives the impression of being rushed. The lab tech is phenomenal (Melissa?) ( for reference, she’s in nursing school at the moment. Definitely would rate 5 stars. Although, not impressed with check in or check out and everyone else I made contact with in between. You are an amazing health care provider !
