Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)

I called your office on Monday morning (July 8) because I had a UTI. I was impressed that someone from your office (sorry I don't remember her name) called me back fairly quickly. When I told her this was the third time in 3 months I have had a UTI, she said I needed to come in to leave a urine sample. I was given an appointment time that same day in the early afternoon. I was expected and greeted by the receptionist, and I was escorted back to the restroom immediately. I left my urine sample, went to check-out and was told nothing further was needed, so I left. Then I went across the street to get my medicine, which had already been called in for me. All around a very good experience.

Annual Well Woman Exam

I have been a patient for 12 years. It has never been an option to schedule my following year's appointment at the end of my current appointment like many health practitioners do. We would typically receive a letter in the mail 6 months before our appointment was due and were told to schedule right then because the appointments fill quickly. The past few years, I stopped receiving any appointment reminders all together. I even missed one year because I'd become accustomed to receiving the letter and calling to make the appointment. Even this year, I didn't receive a notice and only thought about it when I received my mammogram notice - so my appointment was late as I couldn't get in until February, instead of my usual Sept/Oct timeframe. That said, I was THRILLED when I went to check out and was told I could schedule my next annual appointment. However, my doctor hadn't loaded their availability for my appointment timeframe - so I was told to call back in a few weeks, which will be a minor inconvenience. So it seems like scheduling has made some improvements, but is not quite there yet.
