Orlando Suris MD is a San Antonio OBGYN who believes that women should never have to live with uncomfortable problems like incontinence or pain. Dr. Suris is an experienced Heights Obstetrics and Gynecology provider who works with each of his patients to learn about their concerns and develop a treatment plan to help improve their lives. Patients appreciate his caring and comprehensive approach to women’s healthcare.

Orlando Suris MD earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio. Later, he served as chief resident of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Medical Center Hospital. There, he gained a wealth of knowledge and experience that he uses in practice today.

He has a special interest in urogynecology, the discipline dedicated to helping women overcome the loss of bladder control. His wealth of experience and training in this area has helped many women overcome this problem and take control of their lives.

This San Antonio OBGYN is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the Bexar County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association.

This family man keeps busy outside of work, as Dr. Suris is married and has three wonderful children.

The exams and blood tests went fine and I had a good experience, but the wait time was long. I had an appointment at 3:10 pm and did not leave the office until 4:45 pm. I wasn't even brought back to an exam room until 4 pm.

I am fortunate to have a doctor like Dr. Suris who is patient, knowledgeable, professional and displays concerns for my health. He takes the time to converse casually and asks questions about any concerns I may have. Although he has many patients to see, he never gives the impression that he is rushing to go on to the next patient. He is pleasant and has the best bedside manner. Office Visit / Follow-up

Dr Suris went over my lab work and was very happy with the results. We discussed my next blood draw would be in 6 months. He verbally approved the refill of both my compounded meds; thyroid and bio-identical hormones for (2) 90 day refills each. To total 6 months until my next lab work. My pharmacy called me and stated they only had 1 r/x for 90 days. This seems to be a common occurrence, so now I have to call & fix this myself. Always frustrating the breakdown in communication w/my prescriptions. Otherwise, I highly praise all of the staff who are extremely kind & caring. Dr Suris is amazing, answers my questions & knows how to write compounded scripts!
