Dr. Michon McCloud was raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. She graduated from Howard University with a Liberal Arts degree in Zoology in 1989. She then completed her medical training at UMDNJ- Newark where she received her MD in 1995. Dr McCLoud completed four years of residency in OB/GYN at Jersey City Medical Center in New Jersey in 2000.

She was a private practitioner in the field until 2008 when she became a Hospitalist in Pennsylvania. Dr. McCloud and her family moved to Texas in 2014 where she continued to be a hospitalist in OB/GYN. She has gained great experience working with high risk pregnancies.

She has a husband, two teenage kids, and they are first time dog owners. She is a drill team and hockey mom, and enjoys crafting and road cycling. Now that her kids are older, she is looking forward to returning to private practice.

I love Dr. McCloud but sometimes the wait is too much. One time I waited almost an hour and another about 40mins. Most of the time it is pretty quick but the times it is not it’s a little frustrating seeing as I usually need to get back home so my husband can get back to work. He watches our 2 boys while I go to my appointments. Other than that I love Adriatica and Dr. McCloud!

I love this clinic, I had my first baby delivered by Dr Banks and I love Dr McCloud but I feel like sometimes the clinic, maybe because it's been growing a lot, has been lacking attention on some important details. Two examples: when I first came in for my 8 weeks appointment with my current pregnancy, I didn't leave a urine sample, I forgot, but still got a call and a message in the portal that my urine sample detected an UTI and I had a prescription sent in for antibiotic that I should start right away. Meaning, I would be on the wrong medication and someone else that really needed the treatment wouldn't. Other example, because of my age, I was requested to start NST and ultrasound tests every week since 35 weeks, but seems like my doctor never gets the results before she comes in for my appointments, not sure if the information doesn't go into the system right away, or what, but something always seems off. I do believe these are very important details that should be addressed, I understand mistakes happen, but I would really like to see this clinic thriving.

Everyone I interact with is always in a good mood, the process getting checked in, getting seen, etc, is seamless. No one, front staff, billing, appointment management, nurses, OB(s), have ever answered one of my questions that made me feel like I was dumb, answered it fully and addressed any follow up questions.
