Mahta Rouhani, MD, is a caring and compassionate women’s health practitioner who believes strongly that every woman deserves access to top-quality care. She started with Ob North and is proud to join the Pflugerville/River Place Ob-Gyn team.

Education has always been a guiding force in Dr. Rouhani’s life. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas (UT) in Austin. She then earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health) at Galveston before completing her residency at Houston Methodist Obstetrics and Gynecology in Texas.

Dr. Rouhani takes the time to get to know every woman in her care. She understands that great wellness encompasses not just physical health but also the mental, emotional, and spiritual elements of a woman’s life.

In the spirit of lifelong learning, Dr. Rouhani continues to seek opportunities to learn about advancements in the tools and technology integral to women’s health.

Lab Work

The Staff was nice, but the intake process is terrible. Wifi doesn't work, and the intake forms are only done via QR Code? They said there was no paper option if my phone wasn't working. This is somewhat ridiculous, and caused a major delay in my appointment time. Office management should reconsider the QR Code-only approach, as it far less streamlined than imagined.

Dr. Mahta Rouhani Binayao Is the absolute best Doctor I have ever been to. She is caring, kind, knowledgeable, patient and understanding. I have had pregnancy loss in the past and high anxiety during this pregnancy because of it. She has comforted me and been so understanding to make me feel at ease during this pregnancy. If I message her through the portal with a question, she responds right away. She honestly deserves all the awards and recognition for the type of person/doctor she is.

I have had some uncomfortable doctor experiences, and I have had some fine ones. But Dr. Rouhani is a legitimately good Dr. I have never felt uncomfortable or like she wasn’t hearing me. I had some anxious moments, and she would give me options and reassure/educate me.
