Laura grew up in San Antonio, Texas and Hoover, Alabama. She completed her undergraduate nursing degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and her graduate degree at the University of South Alabama. She returned back to Texas in 2016 and worked in Austin as a Labor and Delivery nurse where she met Dr. Thoppil and Dr. Shepherd. Laura joined the River Place team as a nurse in 2018 and is excited to continue working as a Nurse Practitioner caring for patients and continuing to build relationships. In her free time, she enjoys watching LSU football, running, and spending time with friends.

Got to see my baby, wait time was long and sadly when I left my house the wait time had said 0. In the 15 minutes it took me to drive htere it was at 45 minutes which then became over an hour and a half
