Dr. Wajahat was born in Karachi, Pakistan but has lived most of her life in her hometown of Tampa, FL. She often goes back home to visit her family. She enjoys photography, traveling, spending time with her friends and family, and trying out new restaurants with her husband.

Doctor told me that at my last annual wellness exam she didn’t order a Pap smear. I was very upset by this. I work hard to stay on top of my exams because of my medical history. The fact that I was given an exam thinking I had been checked out fully is scary. I have no trust any more.

Dr Wajahat and staff have been exceptional throughout my care the past few months. I appreciate the professionalism, kindness, and guidance through my journey to help me obtain a better quality of life. For 29 years, I’ve been seeing physicians and constantly being up my concerns. I was not living because of my issues. It was awful. Life was miserable & chaotic. I’m so thankful for Dr Wajahat listening. I appreciate finally not having another birth control pill thrown at me. BC does not improve the quality of life when you have to stay in the bathroom every 15-20 minutes. Nor does it improve it, when you are going through 3 jumbo boxes of super plus tampons & a package of heavy flow pads every cycle. I’m so happy to know that I don’t have to leave work to buy emergency clothes replacements anymore. To be able to make plans with family & friends worry free now. To not have to throw my money down the drain on iron infusions & have a cycle wipe out the progress. I will finally be able to hike during every week of the month now. I won’t have to feel completely drained of energy due to a cycle or spend the weeks after recovering just to do it all over again. I finally will have my life back after 29 years. Thank you, Dr Wajahat.
