Kristin Tabor, MD, will be joining our practice in October 2022 from Austin, TX where she has been in private practice since 2018. She is originally from the DFW area and is excited to be returning home. Dr. Tabor received her undergraduate degree at Boston University, then graduated from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School for her medical degree. Dr. Tabor finished her residency training in obstetrics & gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School/Parkland Hospital. She then completed a Fellowship in Robotics & Advanced Pelvic Surgery. Dr. Tabor is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a trained da Vinci robotic surgeon. Her interests include running, swimming, and international travel. She lives with her husband and her Corgi, Joule.

I love Dr.Tabor! She’s so kind and thorough in making sure I understand everything. I especially love that she makes sure I’m educated on everything, she doesn’t brush past any info. She makes me feel very comfortable. I’m very relaxed at the thought of going into labor with her in charge. Also want to give a shoutout to Lisa the phlebotomist. She’s so kind and so good at keeping me distracted when taking blood, I hardly even feel it. If I need to get blood taken and she’s my phlebotomist, I instantly feel relaxed. My only negative experience I have had there is with one of the women who does the checkouts. Half the time they don’t say hi or anything, just grab the paper and stay silent. I wish they were a bit nicer and welcoming.

Dr. Tabor was familiar with my history and treated me with respect and kindness. She took time to answer my questions, which I appreciated. The ultrasound tech was kind and quickly relieved my anxiety once the ultrasound started. The front office staff are also extremely kind and calm. Julie is always a joy to talk to. Additionally, I was very impressed that the ultrasound tech (Janet) from my first appointment a week prior saw my husband and me in the waiting room and greeted us warmly and shared how excited she was about the results of that day's ultrasound. Every staff member and doctor makes me feel welcome and like a human.

Gynecological Problem Visit

Dr. Tabor is so kind. She took the time to discuss all possibilities and then once she had a prognosis, she gave great information on treatment. She is wonderful at neutralizing what can be an embarrassing discussion. Also, I was taken back minutes after check in. I was talking with her within five minutes of check in. I love the service she has provided to me in only two appointments in less than 6 months.
