Kristin Tabor, MD, will be joining our practice in October 2022 from Austin, TX where she has been in private practice since 2018. She is originally from the DFW area and is excited to be returning home. Dr. Tabor received her undergraduate degree at Boston University, then graduated from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School for her medical degree. Dr. Tabor finished her residency training in obstetrics & gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School/Parkland Hospital. She then completed a Fellowship in Robotics & Advanced Pelvic Surgery. Dr. Tabor is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a trained da Vinci robotic surgeon. Her interests include running, swimming, and international travel. She lives with her husband and her Corgi, Joule.

Doctor Tabor had the audacity to advise me to stay with my initial Oncologist and gave her opinions and said “he is wonderful” but didn’t ask me what is my experience. Where the empathy? She is an arrogant doctor, who doesn’t care nor listens. I asked her and question about a concern and what does she do change the subject. I will tel everyone about my experience with this doctor. It’s sad that she makes excuses for your front desk staff instead of correct them or say she is going to train them better to avoid they turning patients away.

I love Dr tabor! I get in and out! And if I have any issues she gets back to me really fast even if it’s a weekend, Nurse Ernestine Harris is such a joy! I look forward to seeing her everytime I go in her energy is so positive, her tone is so gentle, she’s very knowledgeable and straight forward her and Dr tabor are very educated and understanding they make a great team. Couldn’t have asked for a better care team.

Gynecological Ultrasound / Sonogram

Ultrasound was great, the exam visit was not what I was expecting. I normally see Dr. MacDonald. Dr Tabor has a very different bedside manner than I was accustomed to. While I believe that Dr Tabor is very knowledgeable, her tone and bedside manner are a bit rough. Definitely a contrast from Dr. Macdonald who I usually see.

Skin Irritations

I made this appointment to have bump on my skin treated. I had brought this concern up to Dr. Tabor at 2 prior appointments and she had told me she didn't think it was a big issue. However, I am uncomfortable with it and it causes itching from time to time. At this appointment, Dr. Tabor told me again that she thinks didn't think it was an issue, but that she would try and treat anyways, but that if it continues to be a problem it, my need to be cut off. I have seen no changes in the size of the bump or itching since the appointment and fear that I have to come back to have it cut off. I am not dissatisfied, because Dr. Tabor did try to treat it and warned me it might not work. I am not satisfied because the spot is still there and still itching and I have to keep making appointments and asking for her to take it seriously.

The office is great but parking deducted a star from my rating. The East garage was very full and seems to be shared between staff and patients, which is frustrating as a patient that there isn’t dedicated parking between the two groups
