John V. Sherman, MD is a board-certified OB/GYN. He graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a BA in Biology. Dr. Sherman attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. He completed a residency in obstetrics & gynecology at the UT Houston Lyndon Baines Johnson General Hospital in Houston, Texas. He enjoys spending time with his patients and their families to develop individualized treatment plans and options. Dr. Sherman has been practicing in Georgetown since 1999. Practice interests involve minimally invasive gynecological procedures including Da Vinci Robotic hysterectomies, bioidentical hormone replacement, wellness and longevity. He is married and has two teenage children and two rescue dogs allowing an interesting, but fun family life. Dr. Sherman likes fishing, tennis, custom wood furniture design and construction, and archery. He and his family spend time together playing tennis, gardening, cooking and bird watching. Dr. Sherman is dedicated to his patients and improving their overall health and wellness.
