Dr. Ashitey was born in Chicago, IL but raised in Ghana, West Africa by her Ghanaian parents who wanted her to learn more about her heritage. She enjoys traveling, cooking, hosting game nights, and attending comedy shows. She’s also loves volunteering in the community and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Dilation and Curettage (D&C)

Doctor and team were great, but when I woke up I ended up losing some of my bowels ( #2) and they put me in a wheelchair and just wheeled me back into a waiting room. Didn’t immediately take me to clean up, and I just had the procedure done. My husband had no idea I was sitting in the room in my own crap waiting. I feel like I should have immediately been taken to be cleaned up. After about 5 minutes she finally Took me to be cleaned after asking me if I wanted to wait until after I see the doctor or go now.
