Emma Noelle Tessier

I am originally from Canada but grew up in Nebraska. I attended Saint Louis University for my undergraduate studies, obtaining my degree with honors in Clinical Laboratory Sciences. I then moved back to Nebraska and completed medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine.

After medical school, I completed my residency at Advocate Lutheran General, a busy hospital in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. While there, I received training in the full scope of obstetrics and gynecology, including extensive training in vaginal surgery, minimally invasive surgery and state-of-the-art da Vinci robotic surgery. We also had bustling labor and delivery and a high-risk pregnancy department, so I am very comfortable managing pregnancies from routine to high risk. I love getting to know patients throughout their pregnancies and helping bring their little ones safely into the world.

What I enjoy most about being an OB/GYN is the opportunity I have to get to know my patients throughout the different stages of their lives; the long-term physician-patient relationships that develop are gratifying. It is my goal to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on your individual needs.

Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, and our two Goldendoodles. I’m an avid reader of mysteries, thrillers and rom-coms, love being outdoors, and love to try new foods.
