A Dallas, Texas native, Dr. Robins graduated from the University of Texas Austin and received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 1988. He completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School / Parkland Hospital.

Dr. Robins began practicing in the Dallas area in 1992. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His areas of interest are multiple pregnancies, laparoscopic surgery, pelvic reconstruction, and endometrial ablation. Dr. Robins performs da Vinci® single-site robotic surgery for hysterectomy and other gynecological procedures.

Dr. Robins has been married for over 25 years and has two daughters and a grandson. He enjoys golf and art collecting.

Nancy, Dr Robins' nurse is very friendly and put me at ease right away. I have been a patient of Dr. Robins for 30 years and I have the highest respect for him! He is knowledgeable, respectful, honest and gentle. He is very personable and involves his patients in their healthcare decisions. I had a "geriatric" pregnancy and had several complications which he handled with ease. While in labor, 20 years ago, I started bleeding and my son was in distress. He very calmly said "I don't like the look of this bleeding. Let's go have a baby!" Within minutes I had a c-section and my son was delivered safely. I was a NICU nurse and knew all that could go wrong but his calm, almost matter of fact, attitude made me feel safe and not scared. He still makes a point to ask me about my son whenever I see him. I know that I'm always in good hands with Dr. Robins!

It's always a pleasant treat visiting Dr. Robbins for various treatments, whether it's my quarterly pellet injection, or my annual exams. I love Dr. Robbins' professionalism while being friendly, personable, and calm. What I appreciate the most is how Dr. Robbins does not treat his patients with a cookie cutter approach, I'm almost 52 and should be in menopause, Dr. Robbins asks detailed questions to understand my lifestyle and activity level, he pays attention to the lab results to tailor the HRT treatments to suit my needs the best way!
