WHY I JOINED MWC:
Several years ago I joined Midland Women’s Clinic after completing residency. When deciding on a medical practice to join, I was specifically looking for a practice where I could provide comprehensive, state of the art care for women while working with other like-minded doctors. Our esteemed staff of doctors and nurses has allowed Midland Women’s Clinic to grow and become one of the largest Ob/Gyn practices in the Midland/Odessa area. We are a very diverse group of doctors with the most complimentary of skills and personalities. The reputation of Midland Women’s Clinic has always been of the highest standards and of developing long term relationships with their patients through all stages of their lives. I am proud to call Midland my home. It is a great place to work and a wonderful place to raise a family!

Dr. Jasani listens to my concerns. She does not pressure me to take medication that I do not want to take. I truly feel that she cares about my concerns over my well being.

Childbirth / Labor & Delivery

Dr. Wang is very knowledgeable and patiently answers all of the questions asked. She spends as much time as needed with a single patient. My surgery went pretty well and she also visited me in the hospital to check my recovery. The only complaint I have is about the wait time at her clinic for the OB visits. Although the clinic asks to check the website for wait time, the wait times are never updated. I’ve had to wait for more than 2 hours multiple times since she would be out for deliveries.

Obstetrical (Pregnancy) Ultrasound / Sonogram

Kary, the sonographer was amazing! She was so sweet, gentle, patient and made sure I was comfortable. She was really thorough in explaining everything to my husband and I as we are first time parents. As an anxious first time mom, I also love that Dr. Lee's bedside manner and is always promptly answering any questions I have on the portal quickly. Also liked that the billing specialist came out and explained how we'll be billed for OB services. As someone terrified of needles, the blood tech is also super patient and great and makes sure I'm comfortable. The front desk receptionist (sitting towards the back) could be more warm and friendly but was helpful.

My appt was for my annual exam. Although I was accidentally scheduled with Dr. Carroll instead of Dr. Troy, I had a good experience. I didn’t have to wait long in the main lobby. Met Dr. Carroll maybe within 15 min of being taken into exam room. She was pleasant and had nice bed side manor.

Dr. Arevalo is an amazing doctor. She keeps you informed while relating to you as a person. I wish she would have I been my doctor for my first delivery. I was so nervous about delivering my second child but she made me feel comfortable and confident, and the delivery was a breeze with her by my side cheering me on.
