Amy McLerran Chapman

Amy M. Chapman, MD, is a highly experienced board-certified OB/GYN at Women’s Health Domain in Austin, Texas. Dr. Chapman has been recognized by her peers as a Top Doc 2020 and 2022 in Austin Monthly Magazine. Dr. Chapman earned her Bachelor of Arts in zoology at The University of Texas (UT) at Austin in Austin, Texas. She then graduated, with honors, with her Doctor of Medicine, from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas, and was one of the top 10 students in her medical class. During medical school she earned membership into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Hambrock-McGanity Award in OB/GYN. Continuing her training in Texas, Dr. Chapman completed her OB/GYN residency at Baylor Scott and White Health (BSW) in Temple, Texas. Throughout residency Amy excelled at laproscopic procedures and earned entry into the AAGL and the Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures Award. Dedicated to her profession, Dr. Chapman is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). She’s also a professional member of the Texas Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds a Texas state medical license. Personally, Dr. Chapman is a native Austinite. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband Billy and their two talented teenage daughters. Amy is passionate about good food, wine, her Peloton, and running the Cap 10K annually.
