Dr. Alyson Buick Pico received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Austin College, and attended medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine) in Fort Worth, TX.

She completed her residency training in Macon, Georgia at Mercer University School of Medicine where she received awards from the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine for Excellence in Obstetrics, AAGL for Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology, and the Obstetrics & Gynecology Resident Research Day Award.

Dr. Pico has a special interest in high risk obstetrics, as well as vaginal and urogynecologic surgery. A Sherman native, Dr. Pico and her husband Josh have one daughter, Austen, and two dogs, Gauge a loving great dane, and Lexi a devoted Weimaraner.

I’m always extremely pleased with care I’ve received at Grace OBGYN. They appear to be a great team and I always feel like I’m well cared for and not just another # on the list of patients that have to be seen for the day. Dr. Pico is wonderful. She is compassionate and I feel listened to with each interaction I have with her. I hope she will deliver all of my babies if we decide to have more than 2.

Treatment / Procedure

Dr. Pico and her staff have always been amazing. However, on this last visit they went even more over and above for me. My daughter had an emergency health issue the day of my procedure. They worked it out at the last minute to get me in and out quickly. Dr. Pico sent my results personally with a kind message for my daughter. It meant so very much to me!
