    Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)

    All staff members and doctors where very friendly and helpful. Doctor explained everything that was going to happen and result of procedure. Took her time not in rush, I had plenty of time to ask questions and get the information I needed.

    Gynecological Problem Visit

    The person who did my intake didn’t wait to read my weight and ended up inputting my weight 40lbs heavier than it registered on the scale. After that, even though I was bleeding, I provided a urine sample with >1/2 the container full. Before I left, I specifically asked if my name should have been on the cup, but the person said no. However the next day, the office called and said I didn’t produce a large enough sample…which is strange because I usually provide much less. Now I have to go back to provide another sample even though I am still bleeding and have drive 40’ each way…1.5 hours round trip just to pee in a cup. When I asked how full the cup should have been, the tech didn’t provide an answer making me to believe the sample was accidentally spilled and/or misplaced (since it wasn’t labeled with my name). I hope these were anomalies, but this is not the standard of care I would anticipate. My only concern was that I kept stating constant, light flow for 3months…and the doctor specifically said spotting a few times until I finally just said, “this is not spotting, it is a constant flow.” I had to repeat myself several times before I was heard. I truly hope the notes reflect what I said…
