WHY I JOINED MWC:
Having been raised in Midland, I knew Midland Women’s Clinic was the place for me. The physicians and staff here are wonderful people and well trained to handle all issues involved in the care of women. I know the people and area and feel that I can provide the lifetime relationship that patient’s desire from their physician. I provide gynecologic care for women throughout their lifetime focusing on contraception, well woman health, bleeding issues, and menopausal symptoms. I also assist my partners with covering obstetrical call during week-ends. I am residency trained in the da Vinci robotic system and have a strong interest in adolescent gynecology. It is an honor to serve this community.

The experience was fine. I'm disappointed, though, that the medical staff would not refill my prescription for my thyroid meds after both HEB pharmacy and I called for a refill. It was not yet time for my annual, which I schedule as I exit and keep them exactly one year apart. The staff were mistaken for not agreeing to a refill. Then, when I finally spoke with a nurse, she asked that I remain off my meds for the few weeks left until my annual. This has affected my quality of life. I am lethargic and not wanting to do much more than lie down to rest. All of this through no fault of my own. It's disappointing because I'm living with the effects.

Dr Viney makes the exam not embarrassing, she answers questions I'm uncomfortable asking, and she has a quirky sense of humor that makes me willing to accept suggestions that are more practical than "medical."
