Mahta Rouhani, MD, is a caring and compassionate women’s health practitioner who believes strongly that every woman deserves access to top-quality care. She started with Ob North and is proud to join the Pflugerville/River Place Ob-Gyn team.

Education has always been a guiding force in Dr. Rouhani’s life. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas (UT) in Austin. She then earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health) at Galveston before completing her residency at Houston Methodist Obstetrics and Gynecology in Texas.

Dr. Rouhani takes the time to get to know every woman in her care. She understands that great wellness encompasses not just physical health but also the mental, emotional, and spiritual elements of a woman’s life.

In the spirit of lifelong learning, Dr. Rouhani continues to seek opportunities to learn about advancements in the tools and technology integral to women’s health.

Seemed Knowledgeable and competent, but with all my questions I’ve gotten short rushed answers for topics I feel are important- in both my phone interactions with the office and in person with Dr and other staff. I’ve gone for tests not knowing if I need to fast or not, or having no one tell me what a test will entail like drinking fluids etc. and I know it’s required bloodwork, but what are they testing for that is different than the other tests etc. I don’t need all the details but basic communication would be nice to make my experience less scary every time I walk in there.
