Our board-certified OBGYN, Dr. Lauren Hermann, is a graduate of the University of North Texas Health Science Center Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine program where she received her Doctorate degree. She is a member of the Texas Medical Association (TMA) and TriCounty Medical Society. Dr. Hermann is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). At the Caring Center for Women in San Marcos and New Braunfels, TX, Dr. Hermann provides services in obstetrics, gynecology, and urogynecology.

Dr. Hermann does not shy away from the difficult surgical cases, which is why she pursued a rigorous post-graduate OBGYN residency at Texas Tech Health Science Center. She has been involved in the management and treatment of many high-risk pregnancies, complicated children birth cases, and a diverse range of gynecological problems since working at our center.

Oral Contraceptives

The wait time was absolutely ridiculous for what ended up being an appointment that lasted only a couple minutes. My appt time was 11:30. I did not get called back to a room until 12:10 and waited there until about 12:50 to talk to the doctor. I am used to offices being behind, but for what was a very simple visit (only needed to confirm a couple questions to renew my prescription), I could not believe how long it took. I received an apology for the wait but honestly - almost an hr and a half wait is inconsiderate for what was should have been a quick appt.

Office Visit / Follow-up

The advice I received and got a patient hearing from Dr. Hermann was very helpful. However I don’t have access to my account to see all my treatments and requested treatment plans ,prescriptions , bloodwork and other screening services that are required of me. I would like to have access to my account online at all times not just when I have to check in for my appointment and then the link is unavailable! I would appreciate if I have access to my patient account online at all times not just when I’m sent a link to check in before an appointment . Thank you

Gynecological Problem Visit

Kaitlyn the nurse saw how nervous I was and lowered the lights and made the room a very calming place. Alyssa the tech who draws blood also made me feel very comfortable and safe while I usually pass out and get sick while getting a blood draw. She helped me lay down in a room and I didn't get sick or pass out this time! WOOO. I really enjoy seeing Dr Herman. She is kind and makes me feel seen and heard. I am still waiting on some test results and look forward to hearing back from her.
