Kathryn Holloway MD became a San Antonio OBGYN with Heights Obstetrics and Gynecology to make a difference in the lives of her patients. Women’s healthcare looks different at every age and stage of a woman’s life. That’s why Dr. Holloway enjoys forming bonds with her patients that allow her to address each woman’s ever-evolving healthcare needs.

Kathryn Holloway MD earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Holloway also completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at this prestigious institution. During her time there, she won awards for excellence in teaching and her research.

Dr. Holloway chose a career in general obstetrics and gynecology because she enjoys caring for women of all ages. She is passionate about helping women live healthy lifestyles during and between pregnancies. Coming from a medical family, she understands the commitment to the doctor-patient relationship.

While Dr. Holloway is experienced in all areas of women’s healthcare, she is especially passionate about robotic surgery, endometriosis treatment, general and high-risk obstetrics, and treatments like Botox and Juvederm.

Dr. Holloway lives with her husband, who is also a physician, and their two children. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling, spending time with loved ones and trying new restaurants in the San Antonio area.

Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)

I was able to get a nurse visit the same day that I called. I only waiting the waiting room about 10 minutes and I was called back to give my sample. By the time I got to Walgreens in Schertz, my meds were waiting for me.

Obstetrical (Pregnancy) Ultrasound / Sonogram

We had over a 45 minute wait and the Sonographer was not the nicest at first. By the end of the appointment she warmed up a little, but we weren't off to the best start. We love Dr. Holloway though.

Love the people and the care I receive. Excellent service. The wait was long. I was there for an hour and 40 minutes, but probably only spent about 45 minutes (max) with the doctor and various staff.

Gynecological Problem Visit

I explained my symptoms, was only consulted with and was prescribed medication. The visit felt rushed. Doctor gave me expired samples. She told me to schedule a follow up appointment in 3 months, when I went to reception to make pay my copay and schedule the appointment, I was told that I was only needed to be seen as scheduled. Menopause is not fun and going thorough what I’m going through is a serious matter to discuss. Everyone is different and I feel more time should’ve been taken to discuss options.
