Jose Ruiz MD graduated from Louisiana State University where he received a Bachelor of Science. He received his medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Then, he completed his OBGYN residency at Saint Luke’s Woman’s Hospital in New York City.

Through his education and training at these prestigious institutions, Dr. Ruiz has gained knowledge and insights that allow him to provide world-class gynecology and obstetrics care to the women who visit his practice.

As a San Antonio OBGYN who is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Jose Ruiz provides care for conditions ranging from high-risk pregnancies to menopause. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Ruiz has more than 20 years of experience taking care of women. This allows him to diagnose and treat a wide variety of problems and issues that can affect women at different ages and stages of life.

When he isn’t spending his time with patients at the clinic, Dr. Ruiz enjoys spending time with his family. This family man loves nothing more than bonding with his three wonderful children.
