I was scheduled for a mammogram appointment at 10:15am and an annual women's health exam with Dr. Ramos-Gonzales at 10:50am. The mammogram was exam was exactly on time and took about 10 minutes. However, it wasn't until 12:10pm that I saw Dr. Ramos-Gonzales, which was an hour and 20 minutes past my appointment time. I had let them know I had another doctor's appointment after this one but it didn't seem to matter - they still did not get me in until very far past my appointment time. When I saw Dr. Ramos-Gonzales, it was very rushed. Although I think she was probably trying to be aware of the impact of her delay on my schedule, I had questions for her and it felt very rushed. Given I only see her once per year and that I waited so long after my appointment time to make sure I saw her, I would have expected to have more time. I doubt we were together even 10 minutes. I like Dr. Ramos-Gonzales and have gone to her for years. but with the relocation of her office (which is very inconvenient), the consistency of running very late for appointments and the "always rushed" feel - when I see her, I'm not sure this is the right option for me anymore. It makes me wonder if she just has way too many patients or something. I have multiple other doctors I see on a regular basis. None of them have these issues. They are all consistently on time and give me the time I need.

Dr. Gonzales is a very kind and thorough Doctor I think. She does the exams with a very gentle procedure. I have been a patient of Dr. Gonzales for several years and am always so thankful she remembers me. She is a good doctor and with visit for yearly checkups, I always leave the Office feeling so good and glad I had an appointment with her as she always make me feel better!
