Since 2009, our board-certified OBGYN, Dr. Barrett Blaue, has treated women in San Marcos and New Braunfels, TX with reproductive medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). Dr. Blaue is a proud member of the Texas Medical Association (TMA) and the TriCounty Medical Society.

Along with the other members of the surgical team at the Caring Center for Women, Dr. Blaue is certified in da Vinci robotic surgery. In the operating room, Dr. Blaue regularly performs cystoscopies, ovarian surgery, tubal ligations, and vaginal prolapse and injury repairs. He has several medical privileges to hospitals in the San Antonio – Austin, TX Corridor, including the Central Texas Medical Center.

I logged into the portal to see the notes from my visit and it stated that there were things like supplements, diet, exercise, etc. discussed during my appointment and that I was given handouts. None of that was ever given. Dr. Blaue was in and out so fast and didn’t even try to address any of my concerns.

I had some questions about my experience and current situation and the doctor just plainly said they don't have time to manage these conditions and that they currently have over 200 OB patients that they are monitoring and said they dont have time or resources to do these treatments. they were very nice about it but i felt as if maybe i should be seeing someone else if they are overwhelmed with all the OB patients. my experience was pleasant but i felt like i needed to start looking for a doctor that can handle and treat my current experience and not rushed about it. they also plainly said there outside agencies are more equipped to handle my situation and the doctor could only give me 1 option. So im not quite sure if i want to continue with this doctor or find another one. still debating

Exam was less than 5 minutes. In my late 50's... It was the fastest annual exam I have ever had. Both breast and pelvic exam were incomplete.
